THE RUBBERBODIES COLLECTIVE began as an interdisciplinary creative process in the performing arts. It was initiated by Rebecca Camilleri and Jimmy Grima, on the island of Malta, in 2009.

The collective aims to create innovative artistic productivity and collaboration with local and international artists, as well as the community. The collective’s repertoire consists of theatre productions, site-specific performances, concerts, publications, films and installation works.

The collective is still evolving and creatively led by Jimmy Grima and Ira Melkonyan.
